The 1869 Proof Cent Pattern - J-670 is a proof cent pattern struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Reconstruction Era Patterns (1866-1869) series. It was struck from the regular 1869 Indian Head cent dies. USPatterns.com regards the 1869 off-metal strikings from regular dies as pieces made for sale to collectors in complete sets.
