About This Coin
Copper tokens dated 1781 believed to have been produced in Dublin, Ireland, and circulated in both Ireland and the American states. The obverse shows a seated figure and the reverse reads NORTH AMERICAN TOKEN. Both thick and thin planchet varieties exist.
