John Reich's Capped Bust design on the quarter dollar, produced after a seven-year gap in quarter production. The Large Size type (1815-1828) and Reduced Size type (1831-1838) reflect the adoption of close collar technology. The 1823/2 overdate is a major rarity, and the 1827 restrike is known in proof only.
