2007 (P) Presidential Dollar - Thomas Jefferson, Position A - Atypical Die Clash ADC-100c-2007-01(TJ)

Description

ADC-100c-2007-01(TJ) is an atypical die clash on a 2007-P Thomas Jefferson Presidential dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The clash is strong and centered. On the obverse, Liberty's neck and shoulder struck into Jefferson's left eye, and part of her robe marked the corner of his right eye. The mark to the left of the right eye is the outline of the digit 1, and part of Liberty's crown shows in the field beside Jefferson's neck. On the reverse, parts of Jefferson's neck and coat collar clashed into the area around the torch, and features of his face left marks below Liberty's chin that look like an extra ray in her crown.
