Description

ADC-100c-1976D-01 is an atypical die clash on a 1976-D Bicentennial Eisenhower dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Under Ike's chin are three clash marks, made by the moon and the upper right edge of the Liberty Bell; they sit close together, but each can be told apart. Another mark from the moon lies in the field just right of the back of Ike's neck. On the reverse, Ike's upper lip left a mark starting at the lower left of the bar the Liberty Bell hangs from. A die scratch in Ike's ear identifies the die. MDC's overlay compares where the dies sat when they clashed.
