Description
Doubling to the SE on the arm of Murray's glasses on the right side of the H in HOPE and on the rim of the glasses above her left eye.Die Markers: Obverse: Obverse is WDDO-001, strong doubling to the SW on the ear, in the hair detail, and slightly in the nostril. Die crack across the eye and the tip of the nose. Die chips on the back of the mouth. Die gouge on the neck left of the date. Three die gouges at the center of the base of the bust. Small die gouge left of the bottom of the S in TRUST. Small die gouge at the rim above the first T in TRUST. Small die gouge between the right side of the W in WE and the G in GOD. Two die gouges in the field between IGWT and the L in LIBERTY. Large die gouge right of the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: Die cracks on the top and bottom of the O and the bottom of the P in HOPE. Die chip at the top left corner of the P in HOPE. Pre-die break depression in the upper opening of the H in HOPE. Die crack inside the 2 in 25¢. Thin die scratches through the UNI in UNITED. Large die gouge left of the first A in AMERICA. Large die gouges at the upper and lower part of the lower opening in the H in HOPE. Large die gouge NW of the D in DR. Die gouge between the upper EV in REVEREND. Die gouge between the bottom of the OP in HOPE.
