Class VIII, Tilted Hub DoublingClass VIII doubling shows on the tops of the letters T, I, C of MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Die chips on Jefferson's chin; die gouge above designer's initials DW. Reverse: Heavy die gouge above right arch; die gouge in field below V of FIVE; die gouge inside small left semicircular window; die gouge below M of UNUM.
