Description
Moderate extra thickness shows on the designer’s initials LB and JFM. Die Markers: Obverse: An extremely small die gouge (dot) shows below the right side of the second 2 in the date. A diagonal die crack runs through Lincoln's eyebrow. A die gouge (dot) shows well south of the right edge of the B in LIBERTY. A die gouge shows on Lincoln’s lower bust above the V and D in VDB. Reverse: Die cracks show on the upper left edge of the shield. A die gouge (dot) shows to the northeast of the C in AMERICA. A horizontal die scratch runs through the opening of the C in AMERICA and into the last A in AMERICA. A tiny die gouge (dot) shows to the left of the upper right ribbon curl.
