Description
2019 WDDO-027 is a doubled die obverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows sloped extra thickness, the Y's upper right branch thicker than its upper left branch; the date shows no doubling. Obverse markers: a chip under the 2 of the date at its lower left side; a chip under the tip of the 9 on its left side; and a chip near the rim, east of the nose. Reverse markers: a small chip within the first S of STATES; a chip between the lower parts of that S and the first T; and a chip at the end of the upper part of the C in AMERICA. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
