Description
2019 WDDO-023 is a doubled die obverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows sloped extra thickness, and so does the date, most visibly on the 20. On the obverse, a chip sits at the east end of the E's top crossbar in LIBERTY, another chip lies below the B on its right side, and two dents lie at the rim over WE's E. On the reverse, a sweeping crack runs over the PLU of PLURIBUS. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
