Description
2019 WDDO-022 is a doubled die obverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows no doubling; the date shows extra thickness. Obverse markers: a chip just NW of the top of the 1 in the date; a chip centered under the 20; a chip on the right side of the R in LIBERTY; and cracks in the upper hair and across the forehead and eyebrow. On the reverse, a crack and chips sit on the shield's top over the L of PLURIBUS, and a chip lies near the rim, right of the lower ribbon. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
