2019 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent - Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-020

Description

2019 WDDO-020 is a doubled die obverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows sloped extra thickness; the date shows no doubling. Obverse markers: small chips on the 2 of the date, one just left of its middle and one under its right side; a chip below the left side of the crossbar of TRUST's second T, well south of that letter's left side; and a dent touching the rim below the bust. On the reverse, a crack runs from the rim to the scroll, meeting its left side at the bottom, and continues up to the O of ONE. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
