Description

2019 WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2019 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY shows sloped extra thickness and the date slight extra thickness. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies SSE of the Y in LIBERTY, and small gouges lie under the R on both its left and right sides. On the reverse, a crack crosses the shield's top left with chips above the UR of PLURIBUS, and two short scratches run WSW from the shield's lower left side, north of the O in ONE. Doug Jayne submitted the variety, and the updated photos come from a coin of Robert L. Adams III's. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler notes that the original 2019 WDDO-015 listing proved to duplicate this one and has since been replaced.
