The 2018 American Innovation Dollar is a United States dollar from the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date series. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty with a geared background representing innovation, while the reverse displays rotating designs honoring innovations and innovators from each state and territory. Designed by Justin Kunz/Donna Weaver. Struck in 88.5% copper, 6% zinc, 3.5% manganese and 2% nickel, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.49 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge. The American Innovation Dollar Program (2018-2032) celebrates America's history of innovation with rotating reverse designs for each state, district, and territory, in the order they ratified the Constitution or were admitted to the Union.
