The 2018 (P) American Innovation Dollar - First Patent, Position B is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date series. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty with a geared background representing innovation and the reverse displays rotating designs honoring innovations and innovators from each state and territory. Introductory year featuring a single design depicting George Washington signing the first U.S. patent. This coin launched the program before the state-by-state rotation began in 2019. Struck at the original U.S. Mint facility, in continuous operation since 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $1 to $10 depending on grade and condition.
