Description
2016 WDDO-020 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show light extra thickness; the Y's top right branch is slightly thicker than its top left one, and the ERTY is notched at the lower left. On the obverse, a scratch runs NNW/SSE in the field left of the shoulder. On the reverse, a crack follows the shield's top left, above the PL of PLURIBUS. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
