Description
2016 WDDO-011 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show moderate extra thickness. On the obverse, a small chip sits at the center of LIBERTY's T, and a small gouge lies south of the 0 of the date on its right side. On the reverse, a small gouge lies between the R and I of AMERICA; a chip sits on the shield's top left, above the first U of PLURIBUS on its right side; and a small chip lies above the right side of the second U. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
