Description
2016 WDDO-010 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness. On the obverse, there is die pitting well SSW of the I of IN, and a small chip sits on the R of LIBERTY at its lower right. On the reverse, a small gouge lies between the R and I of AMERICA, a crack follows the shield's top left, and a chip sits below the B in PLURIBUS. Steve Young submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
