2016 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-009

Description

Strong extra thickness shows on the letters of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: Small die chips can be found on the center left of the T and the lower left of the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: A small die gouge can be found between the tops of the M and the E in AMERICA. A strong die gouge runs WSW from the rim above the D in UNITED with a shorter die gouge doing the same a little further to the right. A die crack runs along the top left of the shield with a large die chip north of the UR in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
