Description
2016 WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness and the date light extra thickness. On the obverse, one small gouge (dot) lies below the 2 of the date on its right side, and another lies left of TRUST's second T, near its top. On the reverse, a chip sits on the shield's top left, above the L of PLURIBUS. Charles D. Hudson submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
