Description
2016 WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness and the date light extra thickness. On the obverse, right of WE's E is a small gouge (dot). On the reverse, a chip sits on the shield's top right, above the S of PLURIBUS. Charles D. Hudson submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
