Description
2016 WDDO-004 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show strong extra thickness, and the RTY is notched at the lower left. On the obverse, one small gouge lies over the B of LIBERTY on its left side, and another lies left of the upper part of the I in IN. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Robert J. Piazza submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
