Description
2016-D WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2016-D Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Minor doubling is visible on the lower earlobe, on its left side. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies right of the bridge of the nose. On the reverse, a crack follows the top of the shield's left side, above the LURI in PLURIBUS. Robert L. Adams III submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
