Roosevelt Dimes honor Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd President, whose leadership through the Great Depression and World War II made him one of the most consequential figures in American history. His association with the March of Dimes campaign to combat polio made the dime denomination a fitting tribute when the coin debuted in 1946. WDDR-011 from the 2015 Philadelphia Mint adds another entry to the extensive catalog of die varieties that have accumulated over the series' eight-decade production history.
