2015 (P) Roosevelt Dime - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

2015-P WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the center olive leaf above the RIB of PLURIBUS, along its right side. On the obverse, beside the W in WE, to the left of its top, lies a short, strong SW/NE die scratch, and die chips sit on the lips, the chin, the lower nose and the eyebrow. On the reverse, the M in DIME has a die gouge over its right side; a chip sits inside the lower part of the first U in PLURIBUS; and another chip lies between the lower I and B of PLURIBUS. Ronald Burke submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
