Cataloged by VarietyVista with codes UVC-2094 and DMR-005, this 2015 Homestead National Park Quarter carries one of the most visually dramatic doubled die reverses in the America the Beautiful series. The doubling manifests as a very strong spread to the northeast, producing what appears as an extra water pump visible in window R3 — bold and identifiable even without high magnification. Struck at Philadelphia as part of the ATB program honoring Homestead National Monument of America in Beatrice, Nebraska, this coin celebrates the site where the Homestead Act of 1862 opened the West to settlement. The die progressed through stages: Stage A in early die state (unconfirmed), Stage B showing a small depression above the upper left roof and a die chip on the bust above the last R of QUARTER in early-to-mid die state, and Stage C in late die state (unconfirmed).
