Description

2015-P NE DDR-048 is a doubled die reverse on the 2015-P Homestead National Monument of America quarter (Nebraska) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by VarietyVista. A light spread to the north shows in window R2. VarietyVista also gives it as 48-R-VIII; its chart numbers are UVC-2149 and DMR-049. Stage A, an early die state (EDS), is unconfirmed. Stage B, marked EMDS (early middle die state), has die breaks above the lower left roof and above the middle left roof, a depression along the upper left roof and one along the middle right roof, die chips in the upper right, lower right and upper left corn husks, and a large die crack under the water bucket; the obverse is EMDS. Stage C lists a large die break under the water bucket, marked MDS (middle die state), and the obverse is MDS. Stage D, a late die state (LDS), is unconfirmed.
