2015 (P) Homestead National Monument of America Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse DDR-035

Description

Showing strong directional spread in a west-southwest orientation, this 2015 Philadelphia Mint Homestead National Park Quarter DDR-035 is documented by VarietyVista as UVC-2134 and DMR-036 with doubling concentrated in window R2. The Homestead quarter features the Palmer-Epard Cabin, a historical structure representing the homesteading movement in Nebraska, and the cabin's windows provide a precise location where hub doubling can be measured. Stage C reveals a die scratch through the upper portion of RIC in AMERICA, indicating significant die use by the time this state was reached. The notation "W-SW" precisely describes the angle of spread relative to the design, following the compass-point convention used by VarietyVista. Window R2 refers to a pane in the right-hand column of the cabin's window grid, giving attributors an exact architectural reference point for locating the strongest doubling. The America the Beautiful quarter series generated 56 unique reverse designs from 2010 through 2021, and each design's single-year production window makes documented doubled dies like DDR-035 finite in their die-of-origin population.
