2015 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-025

Description

Complementing its companion DDR-024 but produced from a different die, DDR-025 on the 2015-P Homestead National Park Quarter shows light spread in a west-southwest direction within Window R3 — the third window from the right on the Palmer-Epard cabin. While DDR-024 affects Window L2 on the left side of the cabin with north-and-east displacement, DDR-025 targets the right side with an opposing directional spread, making the two varieties easily distinguishable once the correct window is identified. The west-southwest displacement within Window R3 creates a subtle shifted impression along the window frame that is most apparent on the right edge of the window opening. Cataloged as UVC-2124 with DMR-026, this variety follows sequentially from DDR-024 in both the UVC and DMR numbering, confirming their closely related documentation in the VarietyVista census. The Homestead National Park Quarter's cabin design, celebrating the transformative Homestead Act that opened the western frontier to settlement, provides multiple small architectural elements — windows, doors, roof lines — where localized doubling varieties can emerge from minor hub displacements.
