Cataloged by VarietyVista with die identifiers UVC-2114 and DMR-016, the 2015 DDR-015 is an America the Beautiful Quarter exhibiting medium spread west in window R2 — a localized doubling effect visible within one of the small architectural windows on the reverse design. The reverse is the 2015 Homestead National Monument of America design. Three die stages document the variety's progression: Stage A shows both reverse and obverse in early die state (EDS); Stage B at early-to-mid die state (EMDS) reveals a depression above the lower right roof and a small die chip in the lower right corn husk, with the obverse also in EMDS; Stage C represents late die state (LDS, unconfirmed). The depression above the lower right roof at Stage B is a notable diagnostic feature — a sunken area in the die face where the steel has begun to deform under repeated striking pressure, creating a corresponding raised area on struck coins. The small die chip in the lower right corn husk provides a second Stage B marker. The America the Beautiful Quarters program (2010-2021) honored national parks and sites across the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories, with five designs released each year through 2020 (one in 2021).
