Description
2013-P SD WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013-P Mount Rushmore National Memorial quarter (South Dakota) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower nose of Thomas Jefferson. Obverse markers: a gouge left of DOLLAR's D; a few long gouges over UNITED's NIT; a gouge inside the upper curve of STATES' first S; a short scratch running N off the top of OF's O; and very short NE/SW scratches just under the ear. On the reverse, very small, short scratches lie just NW of the doubling. Charles D. Hudson submitted the variety; the die marker photos come from a coin submitted by Aaron Laramee. Wexler lists no cross-references.
