Description
2013-P SD WDDR-036 is a doubled die reverse on the 2013-P Mount Rushmore National Memorial quarter (South Dakota) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower nose of Thomas Jefferson. Obverse markers: a large gouge under the first A in AMERICA, gouges inside the Q and inside the U of QUARTER, and a large gouge over the right side of that U. On the reverse, a crack heads N from the right foot of the suspended worker, and a large gouge lies left of Jefferson's left eye. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety.
