Description
2009-P PR WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 2009-P Puerto Rico quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. Just under Washington's ear there is a partial extra earlobe. Obverse markers: a crack across the bust's front tip; a gouge near the bust over the T of QUARTER; a weak gouge left of the first A of AMERICA; and a small gouge right of the R of TRUST. Reverse markers: a gouge near the cloud under the P of PUERTO; a small gouge right of the L of ISLA; and several gouges between the D of DEL and the C of ENCANTO. Eric Schmidt submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
