Critically, the comments identify this as a satin finish variety found in Mint Sets — the special finish applied to coins included in 2005-2010 uncirculated Mint Sets, where the planchets and dies received a distinctive burnished treatment that produced a soft, matte-like surface distinct from both proof and standard business strike finishes. The northward spread direction on the tower creates a secondary impression above the primary, visible as an extra undulation in the wave-like architectural detail to the right of the upper tower structure. Satin finish surfaces can make variety detection both easier and harder: the uniform matte texture eliminates distracting luster breaks but also reduces the high-contrast reflections that help reveal doubling on standard surfaces.
