Description

Doubling shows to the right of the left elbow and above the first two black keys. Die Markers: Obverse: Short die crack through the top of the designers' initials JF WC. Short N/S die scratches below the ear. Small die gouge left of the first T in TRUST. Small die gouge above the right side of the U in TRUST. Small die gouges left and above the W in WE. Reverse: Three pre-die break depressions on the upper right side of the piano. Die gouge left of the C in COLUMBIA. Die gouge above Ellington's right shoulder. Small die gouges above the C in JUSTICE. Small die gouges above the coat tail draped over the seat.
