Description
Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.
Die Markers
- Obverse: A die gouge can be found above the W in WE. A die crack runs along the base of the bust and through the designer’s initials. A die chip can be found above the J in JF. Reverse: A heavy die crack runs south from the bottom right of the reverse design to the rim. A heavy die crack runs from west to east along the bottom right of the reverse design and then out to the rim.
