Description
The 2005 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-025 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2005 (P) Jefferson Nickel - Bison, part of the Jefferson Nickels Westward Journey 2004-2005 series. Die markers: UVC-1583 DMR-028 Stage A: Light die gouge off the upper Right leg of the last U of UNUM – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Die gouge dot in field under T of UNITED – EDS Light die gouge in upper portion of Y of LIBERTY – EDS Stage C: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage D: LDS (unconfirmed).
