The 2005 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-008 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2005 (P) Jefferson Nickel - Bison, part of the Jefferson Nickels Westward Journey 2004-2005 series. Die markers: UVC-1568 DMR-013 Stage A: Small die gouge dot under the tip of the lowest Right branch of the Right tree – EDS Very light curving die scratch on Jefferson's lower lip – EDS Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed).
