Description
2005-D KS WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2005-D Kansas state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the earlobe's underside. On the obverse, a gouge sits just left of the D mint mark, and a crack crosses the left end of the bust's base. Reverse markers: a small gouge left of the K of KANSAS near its base; a small gouge inside the N of KANSAS, low down; and a north-south crack over the bison's nose, with a chip close to the crack's midpoint. Jon Savard submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
