Description
2004-D WI WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse on the 2004-D Wisconsin state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the cow's left nostril. On the obverse, gouges lie left of the T of QUARTER and right of the A of DOLLAR, and two gouges sit left of the U of UNITED. On the reverse, a chip marks the ribbon's right end, and there are chips on the F of FORWARD at its lower right serif and on the D of FORWARD at its lower serif. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
