2004 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005

Description

2004-D WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse on the 2004-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower right side of the sixth Memorial column, left of the lower part of the statue, and also along the statue's right knee, on its right side. On the obverse, a gouge lies right of the nose tip. On the reverse, gouges appear under UNITED toward its right end; over the left cornice; between the dot and the first U of UNUM; beneath the C in AMERICA; and to the right of the last column, high up. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
