2000 (P) Roosevelt Dime - Type I Counter Clash CCLTI-10C-2000-02

Description

CCL(TI)-10c-2000-02 is a Type I counter clash on a 2000-P Roosevelt dime, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It is another 2000 Roosevelt dime with doubled clash marks, here with the counter clash on the reverse. There, MDC's black arrows mark counterclashed parts of several oak leaves along with some doubling of the torch. The obverse matches: opposing clash marks from the oak leaves and torch sit around Roosevelt's ear and neck. A slighter counter clash shows on one olive leaf, with the matching area near the nose on the obverse. MDC gives an approximate overlay of the counterclashed areas and a full overlay with arrows showing which way the die alignment shifted between clashes.
