Description

A strong spread to the south shows as an extra pair of statue legs. Extra knees can be seen above the normal knees and doubling can be found on the lower part of the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: Two small die gouges can be found above the left side of the R in LIBERTY. A small die gouge touches the left side of the top of the T in LIBERTY. Two small die gouges can be found to the left of the G in GOD. A die gouge can be found above the 6. Several die gouges can be found midway between the profile of Lincoln and the rim. Reverse: A small die gouge can be found to the right of the E in UNITED. A short, vertical die scratch can be found at the rim between the tops of the R and I in AMERICA. A die gouge can be found to the right of the G in FG. A die gouge can be found between the bottom of the Memorial and the top right side of the T in CENT. Obverse:
