Description

A very close spread towards the center shows on the lower right R in TRUST as a notch, and on the hair details below WE TRUST. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge (dot) can be found on Lincoln’s collar well east of the Y in LIBERTY. A small die gouge (dot) can be found just to the left of the top of the I in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die gouge (feeder finger scrape) runs SE from the top of the 1st Memorial column. Die gouges (feeder finger scrapes) run from SW to NE through the ITE in UNITED.
