1994 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

Extra thickness and separation shows on IGWT with the strongest spread on TRUST. Nice separation shows on most hair details at the top of the head. The eyelid shows slight doubling. Die Markers: Obverse: A die chip can be found in the upper B of LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found near the rim at about 10:00. A die gouge can be found midway between WE and TRUST. Reverse: A die scratch runs from the T in UNITED over the left side of the Memorial. A die gouge can be found between the lower C and E in CENT.
