1991-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005

Description

A vertical bar can be seen to the right of column 6 and left of the statue’s shoulder. Die Markers: Obverse: Two die gouges (dots) show between the letter N in IN and the G in GOD. WNW-ESE oriented die scratches run through the letters ERTY in LIBERTY. A series of die scratches run SE from Lincoln’s nose and forehead. Reverse: A die scratch runs mostly E-W below the FG initials. A series of E-W oriented die scratches run in the field above ONE. A series of mostly E-W oriented die scratches run through the letters TED in UNITED.
