1988-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

A Class II spread towards the center shows on the date and slightly on IGWT. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs NNE from the top of the TY in LIBERTY. Two die gouges can be found to the left of the upper head south of the G in GOD. Reverse: A short strong die gouge can be found near the rim midway between the second A in AMERICA and the designer’s initials.
