Description
1984-P WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 1984 Kennedy half dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. A strong Class VI spread toward the center is seen on LIBERTY, the hair details at the top and IN GOD WE TRUST, with a slight spread on the date. On the obverse, the field left of the lower chin has an N/S scratch, and the date's 1 has a short gouge left of its top. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Ken Sylvia submitted the variety, and CONECA lists it as 1-O-II+VI. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
