Description

TDC-100c-1971D-01 This unabraded die clash shows a strong U of UNUM and a talon of the eagle in the forehead of Eisenhower. This coin is courtesy of Robert Kirkland of Florida. An earlier die state shows the clash marks a bit better, including one previously not seen; a die clash from the eagl’e wing in the fielf in front of Ike’s nose. Both front and back portions of Ike’s head can be seen clashed into the reverse die.
