The 1970-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1970 (D) Washington Quarter, part of the Washington Clad and Silver Proof Quarters 1965-1998 series.
